panic mode

A test of a quick face rig, done with bones and a bit of CP weighting.

I used this in my character for my "Summer Memories Image Contest" entry.

I used the effect in my "Summer Memories Image Contest" entry. It appears in the middle area of the house...

before disposable towels

A demonstration of simcloth in Animation:Master.

When I was little I thought this was how the roller towels in men's rooms worked.

chiss sweeze

This is pretty much the inverse of the clouds a few posts down.  In fact, it began as a failed attempt to make clouds. This is a procedural material placed on some closely stacked planes that creates the appearance of cheese with holes in it.

it walks down stairs...

SimCloth used to recreate the famous children's toy.  All simulated, I only had to drop it just right.

dabbling with dinosaurs...

A few attempts at quickly constructing dinosaurs in Animation:Master.

I'm trying to come up with interesting yet beginner-doable modeling projects for a tutorial.

webbed GL

Cutting edge new thing... displaying 3D models in a browser via "webGL" without a plugin.  Here's a model of Alfonse Capone I'm working on...

The intention is that you may left-, middle-, or right-button click on it to adjust the view and use the controls on the left to change the render style.

About half the computers out there don't have the right browser/graphics card combination to make it all work (try Firefox or Chrome), but that's what new standards are for... to make you upgrade your stuff!

What you see above is a polygon OBJ exported from Animation:Master. The actual A:M all-spline model is constructed like this:

it's... box o' clouds!

It's not a volumetric turbulence material, it's an incredible simulation, it's...

Shaggy's BUS STOP Rope Trick

A test of a strategy for using Simcloth for rope in Animation:Master.

Shaggy's Rope Trick was created for the Animation:Master forum collaboration project BUS STOP.

pants, pants, pants

Simulated cloth pants have been a bit of a Grail. Difficult for them to survive rapid motion and being pinched in tight spaces.

I believe that Thom walk cycle is by William Eggington.

coil o' rope

Toying around with simulated cloth to make "rope".

wet, walk and wave

What would a rain drop character look like? This is one possibility.
